National Rallies began in 1975 when Clubs from the five States came together in Melbourne for five days of social events with some low-key competition events as well.
Prior to 1975 there were some interstate rallies between the eastern states including South Australia. Early on there was billeting arranged by the host club but now days the rallies are either at a regional location with a resort being the preferred option.
Each state takes turns as host and in 2025 it is Victoria's turn to put on the Rally. The largest rallies have always been in Victoria as it is the largest Club in Australia.
Several awards are presented at each Rally, the main one being the Alan Jones Trophy awarded to a member who has been the best Clubman in their Club. This award is voted on by the National Delegates who are representatives of each Club.

Check In from 2.00pm recieve room allocation & collect Rally bags
From 5.00pm: Gather in Radius Alfresco area for drinks & Canapes
8.30pm Drinks to finish. Members who wish to continue do so at their own cost in Radius restaurant.
Breakfast in your accommodation or buffet breakfast in Radius restaurant at $25 per head (your cost)
10.00am Leave to travel to Mossvale Park for car display and lunch
at the Park provided by Leongatha Lions Club. Return to RACV Inverloch at your own choice.
6.00pm Function in the Panorama Room including 2 course dinner and live entertainment and drinks from 6.30 until 9.30pm
Breakfast in your accommodation or buffet breakfast in the Radius
restaurant at $25 per head (your cost)
10.00am Leave to travel to Port Albert for boat cruise and visit to Maritime Museum and other points of interest.
Lunch is your choice at local restaurants with money provided
Make your own way back to Inverloch in the afternoon.
6.00pm Gala Dinner in the Panorama Room featuring presentations and awards. Until 10.00pm.
Farewell Breakfast/Brunch in Radius restaurant and alfresco area until 10am when rooms must be vacated.
